Gobi Matar

There are many recipes of gobi matar, my version of this curry is adding paste of sesame seeds , onions and tomato paste which are fried before making into paste. This gravy adds little sweet taste to the curry.

Gobi /Cauliflower -1
Peas -1cup
Onion -1 
Tomato -2 medium
Salt -as required
Turmeric -1/2 tsp
Red Chili  powder -1/2 tsp
Sesame Seeds -3 tsp
Jeera -1tsp
Ginger Garlic paste -1tsp
Curd -2 tsp
Cumin coriander powder -1/2tsp
Garam Masala -1tsp

Method :

Fry Sesame seeds in low flame for 2mins and remove from pan.Now in the same pan and  1tsp of oil and add onions .Fry them till they turn slight brown.

 Add chopped tomato's and 1 red chili ,let it cook till the tomato's turn little mushy.
Turn off the flame lit the mixture cool down,then add to grinding jar .Also add cashews  and water as required,

 In the pan add some more oil and add ginger garlic paste. Saute for 1min then add the gravy into the pan.Let it boil for 15 mins. Add red chili powder ,cumin coriander powder, Salt ,Garam masala and mix well.

Add gobi and frozen peas and add some water.Cook curry until gobi is cooked well and at the end add curd and mix well. Garnish with coriander leaves.
